Role Overview:
We are working with a well-known US certification body that are expanding their auditing services and is looking for Auditors to join its growing ISO Field Audit team in various locations. While experience in auditing ISO standards is a plus, it is not required. Candidates with diverse professional backgrounds who can communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels are encouraged to apply. A passion for personal growth and development is essential.
Industry knowledge and experience in sectors like recycling, metal, and plastics is essential.
Scope of Role:
As an Auditor, you will conduct supplier audits for small, medium, and large organisations within your assigned region. Your role will include preparing detailed analytical reports summarizing audit results within the client's business. You will report directly to the Chief Service Delivery Officer and collaborate closely with the Compliance team to meet the certification body's rigorous standards and requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct audits under supervision until necessary competencies and sector (EA) codes are assigned.
- Evaluate management systems to determine conformity with specified requirements.
- Assess the effectiveness of management systems in meeting statutory, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
- Identify areas for potential improvement in management systems.
- Plan and execute audits efficiently, using available resources effectively.
- Lead opening and closing meetings for audits and maintain clear communication with clients.
- Resolve conflicts and ensure smooth audit processes.
- Prepare and finalise audit reports.
Essential Requirements:
- IRCA or equivalent qualification in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or R2.
- Previous auditing experience highly desirable
- Industry knowledge and experience in sectors like recycling, metal, and plastics.
- Experience in audit, control testing, control and risk identification, or audit analysis.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a keen eye for detail and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to build and manage professional relationships at various levels.
- Valid, clean driving license and willingness to travel extensively.
Desirable Requirements:
- A degree or equivalent qualification/experience.
- Relevant professional certifications, such as Lead Auditor courses (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 27001, 22301, 13584).
- NEBOSH or IOSH certifications.
- Experience in senior management or directorship roles in a commercial industry.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base salary of $90,000 to $105,000.
